Taxometric analysis: introduction and overview
Article Abstract:
Various taxometric procedures and mathematical tools that are used for the conceptualization of eating disorders are described. Such taxometric analyses are found to be very useful for Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders (DSM) and classification of the eating disorders.

Genetic epidemiology of eating disorders and co-occurring conditions: the role of endophenotypes
Article Abstract:
Various techniques of genetic epidemiology are used to study the role of endophenotypes for underlining eating disorders and the co-occurring conditions. The findings reveal that these endophenotypes developed by genes lead to the development of various such disorders.
