The effect of memory trace strength on suggestibility
Article Abstract:
Uninitiated children are prone to memory manipulations. Experiments to test the phenomena of changes in perception are conducted on children in the age group of four and ten years. The children who had been repeatedly exposed to a particular event seem to have formed an indelible impression about it. However, the children who are less experienced or less informed about the event show a tendency to imbibe new ideas that are offered to them by the interviewer during the experiment.

Developmental differences in eyewitness suggestibility and memory for source
Article Abstract:
Children are likely to confuse between the memories for events they have actually seen and memories for those events that have been narrated to them by some other source. Two experiments are conducted on children of different age groups to assess their memory for reported events. The results indicate that children have a tendency to forget the source of much of the information. They may also attribute the report to another source or claim to have seen the event themselves.

Draw it again Sam: the effect of drawing on children's suggestibility and source monitoring ability
Article Abstract:
Research designed to establish whether drawing or answering questions is a better rehearsal strategy as determined by the accuracy and fullness of children's subsequent recall is presented. Reminders that were drawn were more memorable, but drawing was not found to help children remember whether an event happened.
