The use of nonword repetition as a test of phonological memory in children with Down syndrome
Article Abstract:
A study was conducted to examine the use of nonword repetition as a test of phonological memory in children with Down syndrome, and to analyze the relationship between the test and other types of memory and language measures. The word type and length were analyzed using a repeated measures analysis of variance. Experimental results confirmed the usefulness of nonword repetition as a measure of phonological memory in children with Down syndrome.
