What can we learn from the first community-based epidemiological study on stalking in Germany?
Article Abstract:
A survey of 2,000 residents of Mannheim, Germany, provides data on point prevalence and lifetime rates of stalking, its impact on mental well-being, and the consequences for victims. Recommendations for further research and implications for legal regulations and forensic psychiatric evaluation and treatment are discussed.

Characteristics of homicide perpetrators among Italian forensic hospital inmates
Article Abstract:
Studies on 64 inmates in Italy who had attempted to commit or committed homicide reveal personal histories and clinical features very different from conventional stereotypes of dangerous and violent psychiatric patients. A distinction between violent and homicidal behavior is noted.

Prevalence of mental disorders among sexual offenders in forensic psychiatry and prison
Article Abstract:
A significant level of mental disorders was found among violent offenders in prison, sexual offenders in prison, and sexual offenders undergoing forensic psychiatry; similarities and differences between these groups are discussed.
