Anatomy of an adventurer
Article Abstract:
Artist Peter Beard creates mosaics of images and words culled from his thousands of diary pages and his 'dictionary of images,' or photo prints taken throughout his lifetime. Beard works at The Time is Always Now Gallery on Broome Street, New York, NY, but travels frequently to Africa, where he was trampled and gored by an elephant in Sept 1996. His work reflects the roles of adventurer, playboy, and world commentator.
