Remembering George Giusti
Article Abstract:
Immigrant American designer George Giusti, who died in 1990, produced fresh, bold, imaginative magazine illustrations that bring sculpture to mind. His philosophy and discipline, which reflect the Bauhaus tradition, were typical of European designers who came of age in the 1920s. Giusti relied on an integrity of materials and form to create powerful, singular forms.
