King-Miranda Associati is an idea-based graphic arts firm that was established in 1977. The Milan company specializes in such areas as corporate identity, electronic interface, and architecture. Perry King and Santiago Miranda, who founded the company, are independent designers producing work with high quality and good detail. King-Miranda won its first contract with Olivetti in 1977 and continues to grow today, especially in the lighting and furniture markets.

A saga longer than its name

Damien Hirst's project to produce an illustrated book, 'I Want to Spend the Rest of My Life Everywhere, with Everyone, One to One, Always, Forever, Now, has been difficult. Impelled by Hirst's agent, Jay Jopling, and undertaken by Booth-Clibborn publishers, the book uses pop-ups to reduce the thickness of more than 300 pages. The printing process involved up to twelve redos from proofs, and other snafus.
