Survival strategies for academic publishing
Article Abstract:
The changes transforming the nature and prospects of the academic and higher education publishing industry in the US and UK, which includes both the world of scholarly publishing and the world of the college-textbook publishers, are discussed. The academic publishers can have a better future by restructuring the dynamics and history of the fields of which they are a part, by using new techniques in the world of academic publishing.
