Article Abstract:
The Bedford Development Agency is actively promoting the town of Bedford, England, for investment and trying to revitalise the town's image. Bedford has not been economically depressed but has never really benefited from its prime feature, proximity to London. The town's infrastructure has been poor but a bypass, completed in 1996, has improved links to the main A1 road. An important property available in the town is the previous headquarters of Texas Instruments, which is being offered at a price of 52 pounds sterling per square meter with a cash incentive for whole occupancy.
