Article Abstract:
Physical infrastructure projects have evolved as a critical component of commercial site selection, as clients put emphasis on economic feasibility in determining a suitable location for their businesses. In China, for instance, the ongoing construction of the Three Gorges Dam has been drawing the attention of domestic as well as foreign business owners who appear to be amazed in the project's electric generation potential. Local critics, however, denounce the $28 billion project, claiming that it would merely contribute to environmental contamination.
