Capture interest with the Web
Article Abstract:
Some observers suggest property marketing through the Internet is no better as a marketing tool than using brochures. Others point out the Internet can offer a wide range of information and access to a website may help with the initial elimination of properties prior to viewing. Some companies are utilizing both older style marketing with the new technology. A number companies do not have ready access to computers and the Internet preferring to use video to market their properties. The cost of using the Internet may also limit its use to the disposal of larger properties.

Article Abstract:
The Appraisal Institute's Standards, Rules and Canons will be guidelines to assist in regulating real estate appraisers, preventing fraud and ethical transgressions and resolving conflict of interest issues. Changing the current system of appraisal will elevate appraisers to the professional status they previously held.
