Article Abstract:
Political and economic changes in Europe include the separation of the republics of the Soviet Union as well as the dissolution of the Council for Mutual Economic Assistance of various eastern European countries. On the other hand, the member nations of the EC have relatively stable economies and political structures. Investors and business executives must take into account the plans of creating an enlarged European Economic Area, the Economic and Monetary Union as well as a Single Market Program.

The 1992 U.K. commercial property market
Article Abstract:
A review of the current commercial real estate market in the UK reveals that rates are at their best at this stage prior to opening of the European Community to trade. Developers are also offering rent-free periods and other incentives to encourage businesses to lease the properties. The market for new office buildings is very tight, however.
