Dispute settlers can bring quick relief
Article Abstract:
Some 80% of cases heard by mediators achieve a negotiated agreement. It can save money and time but it is not suitable for all disputes, such as when a legal principle is involved. A mediator must not take sides during a dispute. The mediator is an independent party who helps the parties in dispute resolve their problems and agree on how they intend to remedy the situation. The result of mediation is binding once it has been written into a contract. The cost of a mediator is around 1,550 to 2,500 pounds sterling per day plus administration fees.
