Hertfordshire county council in the United Kingdom has adopted an environmentally-friendly property development programme to promote strong economic growth and improve employment opportunities in the area. Six building locations have been nominated for around 1,000 acres of development use. A list and map of site locations is given. Development at the Leavesden Aerodrome is under the direction of UK project manager Leavesden Developments.

Finding a flexible balance

Occupiers of office buildings are seeking higher levels of flexibility, while property owners are more interested in stability. The British Council for Offices is addressing this problem through a working party uniting owners, occupiers, serviced office providers, developers and professional advisors.
