High Wycombe, England, is seeing firmer demand for commerical and industrial real estate in 1995. New speculative office projects are planned for Beaconsfield and rents are predicted at over 20 pounds sterling a sq ft by Aitchisons Raffety Buckland. A speculative warehouse project is planned at Cressex Business Park which is being carried out by Lancaster Land, with funding from Barclays Bank Staff Pension Fund. Other plans include an extension of a retail center and the building of apartments for students.

The most significant property development in the north London borough of Brent is Park Royal, one of the largest industrial parks in Europe. This is home to more than 1,200 businesses, and almost 30,000 people work there in more than 17 million sq ft of commercial space. It has seen extensive regeneration since it obtained intermediate assisted area status in 1993.
