Article Abstract:
Many property companies are introducing flexible working arrangements into their offices. Some are allowing a number of workers to work at home if it is felt to be appropriate to their job. Others point out agency style of working needs the impetus for others workers therefore working at home would undermine the office team. Money saved by reducing office space requirements may be balanced by the cost of setting workers up in their own homes. The introduction of teleworking needs fully explained to all employees and accepted by management as a viable alternative to office working.
