Let's get rid of detailed building standards
Article Abstract:
Environmental protestors have been holding up the construction of a 56 million pounds sterling development at Crystal Palace, London, England. Planning proposals for building a large new housing development at Micheldever, Hampshire, have been refused because they failed on several counts, such as failing to consider the views of the community and not including elements regarding sustainable development. The report was put forward by Zurich Assurance and Eagle Star. The UK government should reduce the number of building regulations which make any construction work onerous.
