Nervous first-timers push builders to larger market
Article Abstract:
First-time home buyers in Britain are purchasing more three and four bedrooms than ever before because of the bargains currently on the market following the economic recession of the early 1990's. Property developers are building larger quality houses because they find that they can sell them more easily than the previously popular one and two bedroomed properties. Over 27% of the houses built in 1996 have four or more bedrooms, whilst only 7.5% have just one bedroom.
