Welcome to the real world
Article Abstract:
Members of the real estate industry in the UK must be more willing to extend their business into the overseas market in order to take advantage of the international business opportunities. Real estate agents in the UK should ensure that they are knowledgable about the regulations concerning lease arrangements in other counties in Europe and the in the US. Lawyers to compete for agents' business
Article Abstract:
The UK National Association of Estate Agents has reacted negatively to plans by Edinburgh Solicitors Property Centre to open 100 home-buying centres in England and Wales in the period to 2001. Some observers believe that lawyers are seeking to move into estate agency work because their fees have been reduced. They regard this as a negative development, and feel that estate agency work should be left to estate agents.
