Break with tradition
Article Abstract:
Simons Estates, which was responsible for managing Gulliver Development Property Unit Trust's scheme in the Island Business Quarter of Nottingham, England, was prepared to make substantial compromises to attract the BBC, regarded as a very high profile occupier. It was necessary to undertake a lengthy design process, as the BBC had very specific requirements. A large part of the specialized building modification was undertaken during the construction process, bringing cost and time savings.
