Article Abstract:
Redrow Commercial Managing Director Jane McGivern was given the brief to develop properties which would be easy to sell on good sites. Redrow Commercial is part of the Redrow Group. Redrow Commercial made profits of 1.7 million pounds sterling in the 12 months to Sept 1999. McGivern admits she had some concerns the parent company, as a construction firm, may not support Redrow Commercial if there was a decline in the industry. McGivern plans to move her offices from Chester to Manchester, England. McGivern was a champion rally driver before joining the property development industry.
