The National Association of Realtors (NAR) has published a study showing that 63% of all real estate sales associates and 46% of brokers are women. Two women currently serve on the NAR's Leadership Team, including the Treasurer, Pat Kaplan, and the first Vice President, Cathy Whatley.

Homeownership made equal
Article Abstract:
White homeownership in the US is more than 20 percent higher than that of minorities. In an attempt to reduce this difference, the US National Association of Realtors has announced a reward program that recognizes outstanding contributions to minority homeownership.

The effects of the tax cuts sanctioned by President Bush in June 2001 are examined. In particular the effects on homeownership are expected to be modest and short term.
