The road to market
Article Abstract:
The new A47 southern bypass road has increased the development of industrial buildings in the Norwich, England, area. The new road allows transport to avoid the city centre which has improved access to the south of Norwich. The White Lodge business estate was purchased by Crown Estate for 14.5 million pounds sterling in 1996 and now demands rents of 4.50 pounds sterling per sq ft. The Norwich Research Centre is expanding and has sites of 13 acres available. The office market in the city is experiencing little demand with the renovation of a few older buildings in progress.
