The road to recovery
Article Abstract:
The West End, London, England, office market offers good investment opportunities. The major share of property investment in the West End, during the first three months of 1999, was made by UK investors, with property companies investing some 228 million pounds sterling. Some industry observers point out demand for investment property remains high but choice has been more limited in 1999. Investors from Israel, Ireland and Germany are also investing in the West End. The cost of offices has gone down since the late 1980s yet rents are expected to rise as demand outstrips supply.
