Weathering the storm
Article Abstract:
Some local agents predict little speculative construction of distribution outlets in Glasgow, Scotland, will go ahead without some public funding. Developers are keen to build but have not had sufficient funding from their banks. A number of sites could be made available if a new motorway is built linking Hamilton with the M8. The distribution market in Glasgow continues to prosper despite a slow down in other parts of the economy. The Anniesland Village Business park had customers for its nine 25,000 sq ft outlets before the work had been completed.
