What is a QPAM?
Article Abstract:
Qualified professional asset managers (QPAM) are overseers of real state investments. They work to ensure that divestments made by pension funds are appropriate, wise, that real state value will hold, and the acquisition or sale of a property is in the best interest of the fund. They serve as investment advisers and are not tied in the operating structure of the fund. They are paid a flat fee, and as such are inclined towards impartial and accurate decisions for the pension fund.
