A textbook case of hidden gold
Article Abstract:
David Hessayon is a best-selling author who has written a number of works on gardening. Over 40 million copies of his gardening books have been sold, more than any other British author alive. He aimed to present information in a way that was easy to understand for people who might not usually consult gardening books. He does not appear on TV or the radio and this means that he has more personal space and can go to gardening shows without being recognized. There are other textbooks that have sold well, such as a history of Europe by Norman Davies.

Free-range poverty at the hill farm
Article Abstract:
The UK's small farmers generally live in impoverished circumstances. The value of their stock has declined significantly over recent years, and they have no valuable land or farmhouses to fall back on. In many cases, they are as isolated as the poor who live in run-down inner city areas. However, they at least benefit from the fact that they can eat well from their livestock and live in attractive surroundings.
