An embarrassment of lottery silver
Article Abstract:
The National Lottery is bringing in vast sums of money for worthy causes, and is likely to continue to fund a wide range of projects for many years to come. However, the government has been unable to turn this to its political advantage. It is now very nervous about the forthcoming announcement by the National Lottery Charities Board about the allocation of the first 150 million pounds sterling of lottery money to charitable schemes. This follows criticism of the allocations made by the National Lottery boards responsible for heritage, arts, sport and millennium.

Take a walk on the wild side
Article Abstract:
The World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) is seeking to offer companies an integrated, holistic approach to marketing. Its strong focus on education has allowed it to show that it can help companies, which usually prefer to work with education and health charities, to achieve their objectives. It is one of the largest producers of environmental education resources in the UK, and therefore plays a role in determining purchasing decisions by both children and adults.
