Article Abstract:
Travelling by campavan can be a very good way of seeing New Zealand's South Island, which has a very small population and few tourist facilities. It is possible to stop almost anywhere on the island in a campavan, and visitors can enjoy magnificent views. Holidaying in this way can be tiring, and can present difficulties for people not accustomed to camping, but is very worthwhile.
