Be assured of getting the best life cover
Article Abstract:
There are number of important issues to take into consideration when choosing a life assurance policy. It is worth finding a policy in which the sum assured is linked to the Average Earnings Index, which rises more rapidly than the Retail Price Index. Some policies offer a terminal illness clause, under which a payment will be made if the insured person dies within 12 months, at no extra charge. Some insurance companies make regular policy reviews, which can bring benefits to policyholders. Policies with a waiver of premium clause usually involve a slightly higher premium payment.

Ensuring that there is money in the pot
Article Abstract:
Basic life assurance is becoming increasingly inexpensive in the UK, partly because people are now living longer. Some people, such as those who have no dependants, may not require life assurance at all. For those who do require life assurance, the cheapest option is a term assurance policy. This form of policy does not pay out if you do not die before the term. It may therefore be worth considering a renewable policy, which generally lasts for 10 years and in effect begins again at the end of the term.

With profits, but without truths
Article Abstract:
