Blair's brains trust
Article Abstract:
There are a considerable number of relatively young, successful businessmen and women, academics and consultants who would be very influential under a Labour government. They have backgrounds similar to that of Labour party leader Tony Blair and have proved themselves through hard work, rather than being born into positions of influence. However, some observers feel that they could cause problems because they share very similar views and have few direct links with everyday political life.

Citizen Dave decries 'malaise of dictatorship.' (Dave Church, leader of Walsall council)(Interview)
Article Abstract:
The Labour party is becoming increasingly dominated by a centralised dictatorship, according to Dave Church, leader of Walsall council, whose district Labour party was recently suspended. Local Labour workers are no longer allowed to make decisions, and this is affecting the party's chances of winning the next election. He is now making an official complaint about media coverage of his activities.
