Boys will be misogynists
Article Abstract:
Psychotherapist Adam Jukes wrote 'Why Men Hate Women,' in which he suggests that boys' relationships with their mothers lead them to think they have the right to have power over women. Their feelings about their mothers affect their relationships with women. Jukes believes men expect women to recreate the sort of love they experienced as infants. Culture expects boys to separate themselves from their mothers to become men. Their vulnerability frightens them so they ensure that no other woman has power over them.

Don't you know that it's different for boys?
Article Abstract:
It is time to acknowledge that boys and girls can never be equals. It has become common for the rights and needs of girls to be emphasized, but this trend has served to reduce the status of boys. In particular, masculine strength has been viewed negatively, and boys have been reduced to second class citizens as girls have begun to outshine them academically. Boys should be able to enjoy who they are and the fact they are different from girls. Society should learn to value boys in many different ways.

Killers' animal instincts
Article Abstract:
Research indicates that there is frequently a link between serial and sexual killers and extreme cruelty to animals in childhood. Police and professionals working with animals and children in the UK and the US are now taking this link very seriously. In some cases, a child found to have been cruel to animals may be being abused or witnessing violence and is acting out its experiences on the animals. In other cases, the child may be the victim of physical or emotional neglect.
