British troops who paid the price of peace
Article Abstract:
The British Army was in a very sensitive situation in the Muslim-controlled town of Gorazde when it was under siege by the Serbs between summer 1992 and early 1996. Its troops were fired on from both sides, and a number were killed. Some British Army representatives are now returning to the town in order to honour those who were killed there. The situation in Gorazde is still very tense, and efforts are now being made to establish a safe road link with Muslim territory to the west of the town.

British to pull out of Bosnia pocket
Article Abstract:
The future of the UN mission in Bosnia has been further called into question by the decision by the UK government to remove British troops from the Muslim enclave of Gorazde. The UK has expressed continued commitment to UN peacekeeping operations, but has implied that it is not willing to make an indefinite commitment to being present in Bosnia. France has also threatened to withdraw its peacekeeping troops from Bosnia.
