Bullied
Article Abstract:
Bullying is common in United Kingdom schools, according to a survey by Childline, which reported that over half of bullying takes place in a classroom. Parents can be bullied by children and may not seek help in case they lose their children. Bullying is behaviour intended to result in distress and is linked to a power imbalance. Bullies possess power and either bully for fun or to advance their interests. Bullying can also occur at work and can affect employees' health. The estimated cost of workplace bullying is 4 billion annually in the UK.

Article Abstract:
Parents can often put a talented child under so much pressure that the child reaches the stage of almost having a nervous breakdown. The right approach is to be gentle with the child, offering support and encouragement but not pushing too hard. Parents should not give the child false hopes, and should allow the child to make his or her own decisions.
