Call him the maharaja, not the super-cripple
Article Abstract:
It is sometimes tempting to take advantage of being disabled, according to Firdaus Kanga, who has brittle bone disease and cannot walk. He enjoyed receiving a lot of attention when making the film 'Sixth Happiness,' an adaptation of his novel 'Trying to Grow.' He believes that his story is one of growing up, rather than of triumph over disability. Indeed, he becomes very frustrated when able-bodied people are allowed to expressed negative emotions while the disabled are expected to always be positive.

Article Abstract:
Actor Brian Cant became extremely well known in the 1960s and 1970s through his work on a range of children's television programmes. Indeed, he is something of a cult figure to some people in their 20s and 30s. He has now moved on to projects aimed at adults, and has also been successful in this area because his work attracts people who remember him from their childhood. From stand-in to superstar
Article Abstract:
Actor Samuel L. Jackson still finds it hard to accept that he has gained superstar status. He believes that he has become attractive to casting directors because he has done a wide range of roles, thus going beyond merely being a black actor. He feels that many Hollywood roles are too similar, and is very keen to find roles that allow him to grow as an actor. This is why he chose to star in and produce 'Eve's Bayou.'
