Can student mates be friends for life?
Article Abstract:
People who had a lot in common and got on very well when they were at university may find that their lifestyles begin to differ considerably after graduation. This has been the case with Lewis Johnson, a researcher for investor relations consultancy Fulcrum, and Kate Osborn, visual arts coordinator. They shared a house while studying at Sussex University, but are now leading very different lives. Johnson has entered fully into the world of business, and seems set to see rapid career progression. In contrast, Osborn is working on a voluntary basis and is still short of money.

I just won't take it any more, my Sun (resignation of 'Sun' news editor, Tom Petrie)
Article Abstract:
Tom Petrie, news editor of 'The Sun' since 1981 and member of staff for 17 years, has resigned. The editor, Kelvin MacKenzie often verbally abused him but Petrie was committed to the Sun. Circulation has been decreasing and Neil Wallis, features editor, frequently complained about the newsdesk. Petrie was a good newsman who made the most of difficult stories, kept the paper out of harm and had the only reporter from a mass market newspaper in Port Stanley during the Argentinian invasion of the Falklands.

The SFO raided Polly Peck International with much publicity. Collusion between the Inland Revenue and the SFO is apparent and Mr Nadir's defence papers have been mishandled.
