Changing the 'Face' of the Nineties
Article Abstract:
Youth culture magazine the Face almost folded at the beginning of the 1990s, but has enjoyed a revival over recent years under editor Sheryl Garrett. It now sells more than 100,000 copies a month, and is regarded as being at the forefront of current youth trends. Garrett has had the freedom to take the magazine in new directions, and believes that its fortunes have been partly revived by the popularity of acid house.
