A 'million' black men march on the capital
Article Abstract:
The Million Men gathering in Washington, organised by anti-Semitic Nation of Islam leader Louis Farrakhan, attracted many thousands of black men. There was a generally positive mood, with many of those attending referring to black men working together to help each other and to create a more positive image for themselves. Some were keen to emphasise that the march was not about colour, but about empowering black men.
