Clients to sue bank over cash deposits
Article Abstract:
Lawyers acting for US clients will prosecute Barings over large sums of money invested in the collapsed bank's fund management operations which they will claim should have been managed independently. The possibility of legal action is likely to complicate the negotiations for the sale of Baring Asset Management (BAM). Litigation would target the bank's administrators, as they are now legally in control.

Peer urges rethink on Heathrow's Terminal 5
Article Abstract:
The aviation industry will undergo significant changes following the terrorist attacks in the US, according to Meghnad Desai, a Labour peer and Director of the Centre for the Study of Global Governance. He feels that the UK government should postpone plans to construct a fifth terminal at Heathrow airport. The airport's managers do not support this assessment.
