Clowns to the left of us, jokers to the right
Article Abstract:
Many young people are interested in current affairs but are unwilling to become involved in party politics, often not making the effort to vote at all. They believe that their views are not represented by the main political parties, and are much more interested in issues such as animal welfare, racism and homeless than the economic, defence and foreign policy. They are now much more likely to join an organisation such as Greenpeace or Amnesty International than a political party.

Taking Cromwell Street to Charing Cross Road
Article Abstract:
There are six crime writers who are now planning to write books about Rosemary and Fred West. Like many crime writers before them, they will try to address the question of what motivates a murderer, and will use information gathered from relatives and friends. Modern crime writers tend to take a documentary approach, but there is still inevitably a large amount of guesswork involved too.
