Come on, feel the noise
Article Abstract:
The members of rock group Mogwai have been associated with outrageous behaviour, but they deny that reports about them are true. The group has become distinguished from others of a similar hard rock nature by the intensity of its music. The music is largely instrumental, and manages to be both beautiful and daunting, bringing an emotional response from audiences. The group's latest album, 'Come On Die Young,' initially seems to be low key, but still manages to be uplifting.

Blimey! It's Pavement
Article Abstract:
Rock group Pavement is aiming for an 'urban vacationers' kind of sound, according to singer/guitarist Stephen Malkmus. Bass player Mark Ibold believes that, in an ideal world, cultures would remain intact and develop independently. However, he feels that this is no longer really possible. Both Malkmus and Ibold find it hard to verbalize the mood of the group's forthcoming fifth album, entitled 'Terror Twilight.'
