Sharp urban potatoes
Article Abstract:
Kate Malone, one of the UK's leading potters, has gained a strong reputation for her very professional approach. She still has some links with the hippy movement, but is mainly based in an urban environment and is aware of the need to have a strong business sense. Her career has flourished since 1992, when she and partner Graham Inglefield established Balls Pond Studio, shared with a group of potters. All the potters associated with the studio have benefited from Malone's dynamism and creativity.

A dribble into no-man's land
Article Abstract:
Planet 24's Radio Chelsea, a radio station focusing on following the fortunes of Chelsea football club, has proved disappointing. It has had to make extensive use of phone-in programmes in order to fill air time inexpensively, but has failed to capture the imagination even of people living very close to Chelsea football club. The station has also been forced to broadcast a wide range of music which seems rather irrelevant.
