All you know about kids is wrong
Article Abstract:
Mixed views have been expressed about the theory advanced by Judith Rich Harris, who claims that children are more influenced by their peers than by their parents. She feels that children are similar to their parents only through their genetic inheritance, rather than through the direct influence of their parents. Parents tend to react to who the child is, rather than shaping its personality. Some observers believe that Harris is misguided, as she is denying the impact of early bonding and nature.

What's it all about, Sir Howard?
Article Abstract:
Artist Sir Howard Hodgkin regards himself as a representational painter, but not a painter of appearances. He feels that the titles of paintings are extremely important, as they convey what a painting is about. However, he is unwilling to expand on titles. He places strong emphasis on the process by which what he feels, thinks and sees becomes something. He would not like to think that what he makes personally does not communicate.
