David Rodgers

Museum curator and writer David Rodgers read English and the History of Art at St John's College, Cambridge, England, graduating in 1963. He began his museum career at the City of York Art Gallery. He put on a large exhibition on Charles Conder in 1967 while curator at the Graves Art Gallery in Sheffield, England. He took up his first museum directorship at Wolverhampton, England, in 1969, where he established a significant collection of British and American Pop Art.

David Coombe
Article Abstract:
Botanical ecologist David Coombe came up to Christ's College, Cambridge, England, as a Scholar in 1945. He was elected to a Research Fellowship in 1951, and in 1952 gained a University Lectureship in the Dept of Botany. He held this position until he retired in 1989. His studies covered many areas, and his approach to Historical Ecology paved the way for significant new areas of academic research. He was extremely generous and an inspirational teacher.
