Playing American parts can be very stimulating, according to actor Henry Goodman, who was actually brought up in the east end of London, England, but has frequently played New York Jews extremely convincingly. He is one of the most versatile actors currently working, and is determined not to be limited. His most recent project is playing the role of Nathan Detroit in Richard Eyre's production of 'Guys and Dolls' at the National theatre.
