Deryck Guyler

Actor Deryck Guyler became interested in films and music at an early age. He worked in his father's jewellery shop after leaving school, and later studied at Clifton Church of England Theological College in Bristol, England. He joined the Liverpool Playhouse repertory company in 1935, and joined Ensa on the outbreak of the second world war. He became a corporate in the Air Force Police, but was invalided out in 1942, joining the BBC Drama Repertory Company. He became most well known through his role in the radio comedy series 'It's That Man Again.'

Peter Noble

Actor Peter Noble became familiar with classic silent films at an early age. He made his first BBC broadcast at the age of 12, and met Noel Coward for the first time at 17. He joined the company at the Unity Theatre at King's Cross, London, England, and subsequently had a number of small film roles. He later gained a reputation as a show business journalist, writer and film historian, and became the most popular film journalist of the time.

Gene Autry
Article Abstract:
Actor Gene Autry had his first contact with the film industry as an assistant projectionist at the Dark Feather Theater in Achille, OK. He went to New York, NY, at the age of 19, and gained his own series over station KVO. His first recording was issued by the Victor Recording Co in Oct 1929. He had a regular show on the National Broadcasting Co in the 1930s, while his film career took off following the 1935 film 'Tumbling Tumbleweeds.'
