Article Abstract:
There has been very negative media coverage of Mirror Group Chief Executive David Montgomery. This has damaged both public opinion and perceptions in financial markets, and the company's share price has clearly been affected. Some of the criticism of Montgomery may be justified, but quite a lot of it is not. He has acted in a very professional way, and has a good record as a businessman. He has made some mistakes, but Mirror Group's future is not necessarily in question.
