Don't panic ...
Article Abstract:
The great success of 'A Fish Called Wanda' did not bring excessive pressure to make a sequel, according to John Cleese, who has co-written a sequel entitled 'Fierce Creatures' with Iain Johnstone. This film, which is now reaching completion, stars all the cast of the original film and also brings in a number of well-known British comic actors. There were obviously certain expectations of the sequel, however, and it is not yet clear whether the comic elements will come together effectively to make a satisfying whole.

Elvis for everybody
Article Abstract:
Greil Marcus is a serious American rock critic who writes imaginative hypotheses mixed with astute analysis and cultural cross references. His book 'Dead Elvis' lists Elvis manifestations. The American fascination with Elvis is characterised by camp, affection and contempt. There is a collective national joke as well as a passionate, obsessive culture. The fantasy is becoming more destructive, perverse and extreme.
