Cities consume most of the world's products and services and create rubbish and waste gases in the process. Almost half the people in the world live in cities. They can become ecologically responsible by auditing to improve their impact on the biosphere. Architects, planners and urban authorities have a role to play in increasing the energy efficiency of buildings and transport systems. Economists have developed the gross national damage quantification for environmental accountancy.

Article Abstract:
The police force holds one week courses on New Techniques on Interviewing involving psychological methods, for which they need volunteer suspects. Volunteers must remember the details of the person they are portraying, the crime and instructions on denying or admitting the charge. While waiting their turn, volunteers and policemen watch the other course members on closed-circuit television. The policemen learn to show empathy and rapport.
