Emotional rescue
Article Abstract:
New research indicates that children who are able to handle their emotions and respond to those of other people are more likely to do well at school than those who cannot. Parents have a key role to play in this area, as the parents' response to the child's inability to deal with emotions is vital. Parents should act in a way which lets the child known that it is acceptable to have negative emotions, and then assist the child in dealing with these emotions. However, parents can often find it hard to recognise a child's emotions when they are tired and distracted by bad behaviour.

How mankind learnt the arts of love
Article Abstract:
Love has played a key role in the development of humans' superior intelligence, according to Dr Geoffrey Miller, a research working at the Max Planck Institute in Munich, Germany. Females are attracted to prominent physical features, but also choose their mates on the basis of imagination and creativity. The desire of women for ever greater imagination and creativity has prompted the continued development of the human brain.
